L293D Description


L293D can be described as a monolithic, integrated high-current, high-voltage four-channel driver built to support the standard DTL or TTL level of logic. An independent supply input is available to power the logic, allowing it to operate at a lower voltage as well as internal clamp diodes can be found. This unit is suitable for switching applications that require frequencies that exceed 5 kHz.
